The Government has notified new Arms Rule-2016 in July, 2016. The Rules were further liberalised in October 2017 to encourage investments and generation of employment in the field of manufacturing of arms/ammunition and weapon systems, to give boost to the Government’s Make in India Policy. Under the new rules, the licences granted for manufacturing will be valid for the life time of the licence company and the requirement of renewal every 5 years has been done away with.
15 जनवरी, 2018 तक के प्रत्यक्ष कर संग्रह के अनंतिम आंकड़ों से पता चला है कि इस दौरान 6.89 लाख करोड़ रुपये का शुद्ध संग्रह हुआ है जो पिछले वर्ष की समान अवधि में हुए शुद्ध संग्रह की तुलना में 18.7 प्रतिशत अधिक है। इस अवधि के दौरान प्रत्यक्ष करों का यह शुद्ध संग्रह वित्त वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए प्रत्यक्ष करों के कुल बजट अनुमानों (9.8 लाख करोड़ रुपये) का 70.3 प्रतिशत है। अप्रैल 2017 से लेकर 15 जनवरी, 2018 तक की अवधि के दौरान प्रत्यक्ष करों का सकल संग्रह (रिफंड के लिए समायोजन से पहले) 13.5 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 8.11 लाख करोड़ रुपये के स्तर पर पहुंच गया है। अप्रैल 2017 से लेकर 15 जनवरी, 2018 तक की अवधि के दौरान 1.22 लाख करोड़ रुपये के रिफंड जारी किए गए हैं।
