Youth felicitates Chief Minister in New Delhi
Congress government of the state will establish new dimensions of development in Himachal: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu called upon the Indian Youth Congress and the National Students Union of India to work hard with utmost devotion and discipline so that the Indian National Congress could be re-established in the nation and in different states. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was addressing the felicitation functions organized by Indian Youth Congress and National Students Union of India to honour him in New Delhi today.
The Chief Minister also paid heartfelt tributes to former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that all our office bearers and workers should give up despair and convey the national policies of the Congress party to the masses with full energy and dedication. He said that the future belongs to the Indian National Congress and everyone should learn from the past defeats and move forward.
He said that today's struggle would lay the foundation for a strong future of the Indian National Congress. He said that only those who have the ability to struggle could overcome the challenges.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that it is the ideology of the Congress which has given a common worker the post of Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh from the class representative of the college to the post of the President of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, Indian Youth Congress and National Students Union of India. He said that today he has come to the offices of Indian Youth Congress and National Students Union of India to bow down to the beginning of his political career. He urged the youth to never forget their beginning and roots.
The Chief Minister said that in the coming five years, the Congress Government of Himachal Pradesh would establish new dimensions of development in the State. He said that while the state government would fulfill all its promises and transparent, sensitive and clean administration would be provided to the people.
He also shared the memories of his political life on the occasion.
