District Health Society, Papum Pare conducted Multi Specialty Health Camp at Ompuli, under Papum Pare district where a total of 225 people were benefitted on 13th Mrach’2020.
The mega health camp was inaugurated by Honourable MLA of 15-Sagalee –cum- former Chief Minister, Shri Nabam Tuki. While addressing on the occasion he thanked District Health Society for conducting Mega Health Camp at Ompuli which his native village too and appealed all villagers to take full benefit of health camp.
DMO Dr (Mrs) Subu Tasso Kampu gave wide awareness on COVID -19 while giving special emphasis on preventive measures like hand washing and personal hygiene. She demonstrated 6(six) steps of hand washing technique and made all the participants learn them at the spot. She also spoke on various central and state government schemes like – Dulari Kanya, Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana, Full Incentivization, Family Planning,etc.
Medical team of Specialists comprising Medicine specialist Dr K Mossang, Eye specialist Dr. Ponung Perme, Dental Surgeon Dr. Binta Haider, RBSK Team Dr. M. Engling took participated in the camp.
Apart from health checkups IEC materials were also displayed regarding prevention and control of malaria,dengue,etc and free distribution of materials like liquid hand wash,tooth brush,dettol soap,ORS were made available to all.
Dr. T. Nyodu,MO I/C CHC Sagalee and Dr Tai Machung,MOIC HWC Toru with their staff along with health staff from headquarter were also present during the health camp.
