Department of Food & Public Distribution organises a Nukkad Natak under the “Swacchta Hi Seva” campaign to sensitize all about their responsibilities to keep the country clean
The Department of Food & Public Distribution today organized a “Nukkad Natak” (street play) in Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, to sensitize employees and public about their responsibilities to keep the country clean under the “Swacchta Hi Seva” campaign. Speaking on the occasion Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, cleanliness has now become a people’s movement. Shri Paswan emphasized that everyone should make cleanliness a habit. Ms Preeti Sudan, the Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution and other senior officials from the Ministry were present on the occasion.
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution is organising various activities for the “Swacchta Hi Seva” campaign during 15th September to 2nd October 2017. The cleanliness drive is being carried out at headquarters of Ministry in “Krishi Bhawan”, various organisations under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution in various part of the country. The “Swacchta Hi Seva” campaign is also being organised at many public places by the Ministry’s officials to create awareness in public.
